How to Prevent UTI Infections In Women

Urinary tract infections, UTI's as they are called, are a very painful condition that causes frequent urination and abdominal pain.

It is very important to treat UTI’s quickly as the infection can spread and cause other issues.

The goal is to prevent UTI’s in the first place and the best thing you can do is drink plenty of water every day to help flush your bladder.


My sister-in-law is a doctor and she gets very frustrated at constantly having to treat UTI’s with antibiotics when it is such an easy condition to prevent.

Now whilst cranberry juice is great for preventing UTI’s like everything else drink it in moderation. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily and a glass of cranberry juice or a small amount of apple cider vinegar diluted in water.

Prevention is the key to keeping urinary tract infections away.

If you have always been prone to contracting UTI’s be extra vigilant in your water intake and as soon as you notice darker urine start drinking lots of water to flush the bladder.

Healthy, normal urine is light yellow during the day. Morning urine is naturally darker so don’t worry too much about that.

Following these tips you will be UTI free and water is also great for hydrating cells and assisting your body to work at optimum efficiency.
